THE CHALLENGE
Over the course of a week I developed this pen plotter entirely out of laser cut acrylic. It was a proof of concept to show just how far you can take a basic structural technique and build upon it. Two main things make this design unique: all of the joints are held together with wedge and mortise joinery and it’s entirely flat-packable.
